_Bank recruits successful for first offshore phase

PeopleXS helps the bank to meet staffing requirements in India on time and through an organised and structured manner

Through extensive cooperation between the India, Amsterdam and London locations and an extensive preparation in the form of a customized online training programme by PeopleXS, the implementation and the recruitment targets on the offshore project with a large international Dutch bank, has been successful so far.

The first migration has been completed with full hand-over to India to qualified personnel taking on their new responsibilities. The Go-Live phase of the following migrations has already started and are ahead of planning. From a recruitment perspective personnel for all migrations regarding Amsterdam have been recruited and UK and US organisations are nearly there. The project team are expecting to meet the remaining planned milestones including the recruitment targets for the UK and US locations.

Using PeopleXS as a recruitment tool and platform has helped the bank to meet staffing requirements in India on time and through an organised and structured manner. It has provided the bank with a clear picture of where the organisation is on recruiting personnel as well as the ability to take adequate measures to meet staffing targets on time. Specifically through the use of flexible customisations and reporting possibilities which have been tailored to the banks recruiting requirements in India without having to pay any additional development fees. This project has been an initiative to offshore processing activities for the bank to India in order to lower costs, improve flexibility and at the same time maintain high service and quality levels. Operations is one of the work streams within the overall programme, with Amsterdam Operations the first major Operations location off shoring part of its business to India. PeopleXS Enterprise Edition has been implemented to help the bank with recruiting in total about 60% of the staffing capacity, which will be off shored. Management, control, more complex processing and client service activities remain in existing locations spread over Amsterdam, UK and the US.
